Welcome back with a new show, this time from the current summer tour. Many people agreed that DMB sounded terrific this year, and I agree. A solid example is this show played on May 31 at the Woodlands, Texas.
Six songs from "Before These Crowded Streets", including Pig, Dreaming Tree, and a wounderful Last Stop. Enough to decide to take some time and remaster this killer show.
Remastering notes:
I have used the source available on DreamingTree. I immediately realised it had several issues like dropouts, clicks etcetera.
I have decided to put take some time and remove them one by one with iZotope RX09, which has some power functions, like de-clicking and spectral repair. The process is a bit tedious, but in most cases, I managed to fix the problem.
The mastering process included a bit of eveything. Tiny EQ correction, to make it sound fuller, multiband compression, some minor touches on the lower frequencies, limiting.
